Some cakes are worth melting for and this list definitely proves it!
We’ve scoured the web for some of the best Frozen birthday cakes out there and boy have we found some good’uns. Keep reading for our top picks from around the internet and don’t forget to let us know which one is your favourite!
Anna, Elsa and Olaf by Richard’s Cakes
When we saw this Frozen cake by Richard’s Cakes in Manchester, we couldn’t believe how realistic the icing sculptures of Anna, Elsa and Olaf looked!
The attention to detail was incredible and the colours even matched our party range! Sculpting an Anna or an Elsa might be a little tricky if you’re new to baking but you could always have a go at making an Olaf with some white icing!
Elsa Barbie doll cake
This fabulous Elsa doll cake was made by Red Ted Art and it looks super impressive! Doll cakes are all the rage for girls’ birthday parties but you don’t need to be a pro to make one.
If you fancy having a go yourself, follow Red Ted Art’s step-by-step tutorial to find out how to make it.
Walking Elsa doll cake
This one takes doll cakes to a whole other level! It was made by Lacey Jake’s Cakes and Lacey’s aim was to replicate Elsa in the scene where she sings ‘Let it go’. We think she’s done a pretty incredible job!
Now, we’re no professional bakers so we’ll leave it up to Lacey to explain how she made it in her step-by-step tutorial.
Elsa’s hair made of icing
You think you’ve seen it all and then you see a cake with Elsa’s hair made of icing!! We found this simple but brilliant cake idea over on Pinterest along with loads of other unique Frozen party ideas (but this one’s our favourite for sheer ingenuity!)
3D Olaf birthday cake
Here’s another gem we found on Pinterest – a 3D Olaf cake by a family bakery called Yeners Cakes.
This one might be a little tricky for beginners but if you fancy seeing if you’re cut out for the job, check out their video tutorial here.
Simply Divine Bakery’s Olaf cake
Finally, we were as gob-smacked as Olaf when we saw this birthday cake!
You’d never guess it but his body is made of cake and his head is made of rice krispies (to make it easier to mould into shape). Hats off to the chef!
