How to Throw a Great British Bake Off Party

How to Throw a Great British Bake Off Party

It’s the quaintest show on television and if you’ve got Bake Off fever just as much as we have, why not use it as an excuse to throw a party?

This year’s amateur bakers will be entering the Bake Off tent on Wednesday 5th August 2015 so why not gather your friends round for a night of tea, cake and glorious food puns to kick off the new series?

We’ve got loads of lovely ideas to get your started and we’ve taken all our inspiration from our lovely range of Fancy That party supplies, so if you see anything you’d like for your own tea party, simply pick it up from our shop. Are you ready for our GBBO party ideas? On your marks, get set… bake!

Bring out the bunting

What would the Bake Off be without bunting? It’s so quaint and traditional, and floral bunting in particular will certainly give your party the vintage look you’re after.

If you’re lucky enough for the weather to be nice, you could even host a GBBO themed garden party. Floral bunting looks absolutely gorgeous hung from trees!

Keep it vintage

The Great British Bake Off has quaint written all over it and a GBBO party wouldn’t be complete without some vintage tableware.

We’d suggest using something like these cute vintage paper plates. Their gorgeous floral design would look perfect in the Bake Off tent, giving you 10/10 for presentation and Mary Berry would definitely approve!
