How to Plan a Royal Wedding Viewing Party

The countdown to the wedding of the year is on… And if you’re not fortunate enough to be invited to St George’s Chapel, the next best thing is to throw a Royal Wedding viewing party!

There’ll be TV coverage all day so why not invite your friends round for a Best of British party? We’re thinking tea, scones, union jack bunting… the whole shebang! Read on for inspiration or check out our Royal Wedding party supplies.

When is the Royal Wedding?

The Royal Wedding is on Saturday 19th May at 12pm, which is the same day as the FA Cup final so there’s twice the reason to throw a party!

It’ll take place at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle and be officiated by the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Will the Royal Wedding be on TV?

The wedding will be televised on all major TV networks around the world – including the BBC and ITV.

The official schedule hasn’t been released yet but there is expected to be hours of coverage in the build-up to the wedding as well as footage of the ceremony itself.

And if you’re worried about a clash with the FA Cup final… don’t be! The wedding is at midday and the football doesn’t kick off until 3pm!
